Clark: I wish I'd had more time, but quite a bit of research. Mostly books...fortunately, the hotspots of Africa are pretty well written up.
I really enjoyed seeing the flash back of Ronnie in #21, I don't know him but he seemed kinda cool.

Inferno: Yes. We have a guest villain from another series coming in #24-25, along with Killer Frost; and a new, creepy guy in #26-27.
btw, I hope we see more of Jason's neighbor (retired scientist/asian lady)

I first started reading Firestorm before the DC Implosion, so I was used to Ronnie as the lead. But seeing a new character in the role is working very well

The women sequence in #21 is deliberately impressionistic. It's not really a plot element.

It has more to do with the way Jason views women, period. He's carrying around a lot of resentment toward his mother, for instance.
