Stuart_Moore:

WildCard9:
Hi Stuart_Moore
kooljmackd:
hi jamal hi stuart
Clear:

wvdrums:
we should hve a filter put on the baords to remove ronnie raymonds name :P
Stuart_Moore:
Ronnie'll be along any minute -- uh, month now.
Infernorhythm:
Stuart, I have to know, any chances Stein will be a regular int eh main series?
add1:
come to the sub room
Jamal_Igle:
Good evening everyone
clarkent1982:
what!?!?!?
Stuart_Moore:
Maybe.
Clear:
you need to switch to the Firestorm room using the menu at bottom right
clarkent1982:
andy!!
Infernorhythm:
Yay
Infernorhythm:
Stuart, you just made my day
Stuart_Moore:
Regarding Professor Stein: It looks that way from the latest issue.
clarkent1982:
chris!!
Red_Hood:
oi vey
WildCard9:
I am not one of those critics, but someone had to say it :)
Stuart_Moore:
But we've got a big twist coming with #23, the first One Year Later issue.
clarkent1982:
Big Poppa!!
clarkent1982:
yo!!
Falloutboy:
Evening all!
Jamal_Igle:
Hi guys
Clear:
hey
Infernorhythm:
What, will Firestorm be bonded with a villain?
Stuart_Moore:
Hey Clear -- glad you made it.
wvdrums:
i'd say firestorm this week was the best tie in to IC yet...i mean a book other than the minis and such
clarkent1982:
clear!!
clarkent1982:
yo!!
Clear:
thanks :)
Red_Hood:
oi vey
Stuart_Moore:
To clarify: I was joking about Ronnie.
Jamal_Igle:
If yall aint punks, holla we want prenup!!
Power_Guy:
I miss Ronnie.
Red_Hood:
howdy all
clarkent1982:
how is Mrs. Clear?
Clear:
hey Roberto, did you kick it off with the magic word?
Stuart_Moore:
Hey Jamal!
Clear:
very, very pregnant
Jamal_Igle:
Hey Stuart
clarkent1982:
yes!!
Clear:
ok, great
Infernorhythm:
Hey Jamal
WildCard9:
I have been enjoying Firestorm a great deal since issue 14. Definately changes for the better.
Infernorhythm:
Now you have that song stuck in ym head
Stuart_Moore:
Thanks, WildCard.
WildCard9:
Hi Jamal_Igle
add1:
if you suddenly disappear we understand, clear......
Clear:
heh
Red_Hood:
mmrr
Jamal_Igle:
I want to thank Clear for putting this togetther and Spoon for not showing those pictures of me in feety pajamas
Jamal_Igle:
Hi Wild card
Infernorhythm:
lol
clarkent1982:
What???
Clear:
lol
add1:
feety pix? where?
Infernorhythm:
Good to know the creative team has a sense of humor
Red_Hood:
hey is this thing working?
Falloutboy:
haha. CK...if only we could get those pics;)
kooljmackd:
yeah thanks clear
Power_Guy:
Hey Stuart - any chance of Firestorm joining a team any time soon?
Clear:
and clarkent1982 for the notion
Stuart_Moore:
Note: Next issue script -- put Jason in feety pajamas.
WildCard9:
blackmail pics? where?
Jamal_Igle:
Hey Red hood , We see you
clarkent1982:
thanks, Clear
Red_Hood:
nice
Jamal_Igle:
hahahaha
Stuart_Moore:
PowerGuy: It's possible but nothing's definite yet. Firestorm's such a powerful character, they worry about putting him on a team.
kooljmackd:
first it was the chicken suit...now jason's going to be in feety pajamas...its tough being a superhero in DCU
Power_Guy:
he worked fine when he was in the jla.
Firestarter15:
What about stein?
clarkent1982:
Stuart, have you seen Jamel in is pajamas?
clarkent1982:
*)
Stuart_Moore:
Yeah. I think it could work.
Falloutboy:
lol
Infernorhythm:
STuart, if Firestorm has feety pajamas, I will cry laughing
Red_Hood:
any chance of a trade anytime soon?
Jamal_Igle:
Powerguy: Putting jason on a team is like bringing a shotgun to a snowball fight
Stuart_Moore:
Clark: No. The rumors are untrue.
clarkent1982:
hahaa
WildCard9:
I think until Jason learns his powers better, he is better off alone rather than on a team. Just one fan's opinion
Stuart_Moore:
I've been pushing for a trade. No news yet.
Stuart_Moore:
Send emails to DC.
clarkent1982:
damm
wvdrums:
i want a trade i am missing 1-4 and 8-14 or so
Infernorhythm:
Threatening e-mails or begging e-mails?
Red_Hood:
manhunter managed to get one
kooljmackd:
what's dc's email?
Falloutboy:
Do you agree that a Firestorm/Atom team up would be immense!?
Jamal_Igle:
we're working on it
Stuart_Moore:
Polite, impeccably reasoned emails.
Infernorhythm:
Ah
Stuart_Moore:
With passion behind them!
Clear:
polite, well reasoned mails with a check for the first 200 copies :)
Infernorhythm:
I think I can crank one out\
Infernorhythm:
Any chance Breach might encounter Firestorm?
Infernorhythm:
That would rock
wvdrums:
yeah i am reading DoJ and the teaming of atom and firestorm seems perfect
WildCard9:
lets see how many Yahoo accounts I have to send emails from :)
Stuart_Moore:
Koolmack: I'll have to get back to you. They can be emailed from the website, I know.
Stuart_Moore:
The Atom is currently off limits -- sorry.
clarkent1982:
hhmm...
Red_Hood:
he's MIA
Falloutboy:
for the future then;)
clarkent1982:
when are we going to see Ray?
Firestarter15:
Is stein going to be jasons merge buddy
clarkent1982:
in 52*?
Power_Guy:
how about another Firestorm/Airwave team-up?
Stuart_Moore:
I don't know what's going on with Breach right now...
Red_Hood:
atom hasnt been seen since identity crisis
kooljmackd:
stuart: what is your writing day like? you have lots of different projects...how much time do you give to each?
WildCard9:
aw! if Stein was not available, then Atom made a good second choice for teacher of Jason
Infernorhythm:
Ah, shucks.
Jamal_Igle:
I don't we know what Airwave's status will be either
Infernorhythm:
I think I was the only one that liked Breach
Stuart_Moore:
I've deliberately not asked too many questions about 52. Though we're working on some possible Firestorm tie-in stuff for the second half of the year.
clarkent1982:
wow
Stuart_Moore:
Firestarter: It looks that way, doesn't it? But don't take it for granted.
clarkent1982:
:D
wvdrums:
sounds good
Red_Hood:
mr. stuart, any chance of a firestorm/supergirl paring?
Infernorhythm:
Stuart, I must know, any new baddies coming out soon?
imarriedsatanII:
How about a Powergirl appearance?
Stuart_Moore:
Kool: It really varies...some projects take a lot more time than others. I work a lot.
imarriedsatanII:
She and Ronnie had a thing at one point...
Falloutboy:
Big Poppa! I think i read somewhere that you showed JB some of your work? I was wondering what you actually showed him, was in your FS stuff?
Power_Guy:
I'll second that Power Girl appearance!
Jamal_Igle:
No it was a few years ago actually
WildCard9:
I won't ask why get rid of Mick, given what we saw in issue 21. That question answered itself
Clear:
let's try to pace out the questions a bit...
Power_Guy:
even though Jason is too young for her.
Stuart_Moore:
A lot of the other DC writers have been showing Firestorm & Supergirl together. I'd like to follow up on that, but I'm not sure when yet.
imarriedsatanII:
that he is, but..
clarkent1982:
Stuart: how much research did you do for the up coming wovly story?
Jamal_Igle:
I think I showed him some of my GL work. he was complimentary
clarkent1982:
Rich!!
clarkent1982:
yo!!
Stuart_Moore:
Hmm...okay. Several votes for Power Girl.
clarkent1982:
nose clippers!!
Falloutboy:
that's awesome! thanks
imarriedsatanII:
word, clark
Red_Hood:
oops
Falloutboy:
heh
Power_Guy:
PG and Ronnie should have been an item years ago!
Infernorhythm:
Okay, Stuart, any new bad guys coming on the series soon?
Firestarter15:
How bout a Elemental mini
imarriedsatanII:
Stuart, Ronnie and PG had a flirtatious relationship pre-Crisis in the jla/jsa teamups
wvdrums:
will we be seeing the scoiety enter back into the firestorm picture again
WildCard9:
I think Jason would be flustered of what to say to Power Girl in person
Jamal_Igle:
I'd love a nother crack at kara. i don't think I did her justice in issue 20
Stuart_Moore:
Clark: I wish I'd had more time, but quite a bit of research. Mostly books...fortunately, the hotspots of Africa are pretty well written up.
Falloutboy:
I really enjoyed seeing the flash back of Ronnie in #21, I don't know him but he seemed kinda cool.
Jamal_Igle:
Falloutboy: it was fun to draw
Stuart_Moore:
Inferno: Yes. We have a guest villain from another series coming in #24-25, along with Killer Frost; and a new, creepy guy in #26-27.
imarriedsatanII:
btw, I hope we see more of Jason's neighbor (retired scientist/asian lady)
Falloutboy:
Excellent! It looked amazing!
Infernorhythm:
Yay. I love villains
WildCard9:
I first started reading Firestorm before the DC Implosion, so I was used to Ronnie as the lead. But seeing a new character in the role is working very well
wvdrums:
i got a very important question, what are your favorite cookies stuart and jamal
clarkent1982:
Stuart: any more logos popping up?
WildCard9:
seconded!! I want to see more of the asian neighbor!
Power_Guy:
Stuart - will Firehawk be playing a major role in the series?
Jamal_Igle:
Oreos... no jokes please
kooljmackd:
yeah for dr.otaki and Jason + Supergirl
Stuart_Moore:
No current plans for the Society. But keep reading infinite crisis. (You don't need me to tell you that, I'm sure.)
WildCard9:
I think Jamal_Igle has been hanging around the Martian Manhunter too long :)
Infernorhythm:
Any chance Gehenna's origin will be explained
Falloutboy:
firehawk is an awesome character in FS. I like that she's about
clarkent1982:
HA!
Stuart_Moore:
Satan: I want to use Dr. Otaki again, but it'll be a little while.
Jamal_Igle:
Speaking of ic.. Ivan reis draws a great looking Firestorm
Red_Hood:
any chance jason's teaming up with the Teen Titans? or has that been asked?
imarriedsatanII:
ah
WildCard9:
thanks, kool, I blanked on the character name
Clear:
yeah he did, Jamal
Falloutboy:
i loved IC 4...but did anyone else not really get what happend to make FS "die"?
Clear:
for some reason I'd never seen much of Ivan's work but I'm a big fan now
imarriedsatanII:
also, love your work Jamal. Any chance on seeig you on anymore projects?
kooljmackd:
will jason be going to college soon? if you say "what and see" I'll take that as a yes
WildCard9:
I got it fine: Mick kept pushing until he burned himself out :(
Stuart_Moore:
Cookies: I dunno...homemade chocolate chip,, ,probably.
Jamal_Igle:
He's another one of the guys that had been under the radar forever but has really started busting out
wvdrums:
seems firestorm is playing a larger role in the grand scheme of things since you guys took over the book
Stuart_Moore:
Logos: Just the all-new firestorm THE nuclear MAN one, which looks great!
Falloutboy:
i hope mick isnt dead...for real
Red_Hood:
am i the only one who thought ronnie's death seemed forced?
clarkent1982:
Stuart, did you know that Mick was going to met is end?
Stuart_Moore:
PowerGuy: Yes, Firehawk is important to our plans.
clarkent1982:
his*
Jamal_Igle:
There's been a concerted effort to entrench Jason in the DCU
Stuart_Moore:
Inferno: We'
WildCard9:
Ronnie is NOT dead, just merged with the matrix for now. that's my story and I'm sticking to it :)
Power_Guy:
I thought Ronnie's death was forced too Red Hood.
Clear:
we need to make up some Mick t-shirts for comic-con ;)
Stuart_Moore:
Inferno: We'll spin out Gehenna's story gradually. Don't worry, I have a plan.
Jamal_Igle:
hahahaha
Falloutboy:
I liked that Ronnies death was included in Manhunter too.
Infernorhythm:
You have a plan. Coming from anyone aside from you I'd be a bit scared.
Red_Hood:
yeah but just shadowtheif's trial
clarkent1982:
Or is that Steve said, we need a dead body, Make it Mick's
df2506:
hey
WildCard9:
if you mean Ronnie's death in idc, then it was like a cop who got killed on a routine assignment. Things like that happen in real life too.
Infernorhythm:
I got to bail. Stuart, Jamal, keep up the excellent work.
Stuart_Moore:
I'm trying to catch up here...we've thought about Jason & the Titans, or Outsiders. Nothing definite yet.
Firestarter15:
Jamal, you make an awesome firestorm costume desighner
kooljmackd:
jamal: congrads on the contract...are there any projects other than FS coming up?
Stuart_Moore:
Yes, somebody had to die and I helped pick Mick.
Jamal_Igle:
If have a vote i'd say Outsiders
WildCard9:
I think the Titans would become overly powerful, so that may not be a good choice for that group
clarkent1982:
Stuart:cool
Power_Guy:
I'd like to see Firestorm rejoin the jla.
Clear:
I think I'll buy the original art of Mick's first appearance - it'll be worth a forture now!
Falloutboy:
man...i'm still getting over Micks death! lol
imarriedsatanII:
Firestorm should be in the League
wvdrums:
any other projects in the near future for you stuart
Red_Hood:
ugg, as long as winnick can write Jason
clarkent1982:
I'm over it
clarkent1982:
somebody alaways has to die
Falloutboy:
cold cold man
imarriedsatanII:
clark chose read to match me
imarriedsatanII:
;)
Jamal_Igle:
Thank kjmd. nothing other than Firestorm for now... but there may be a chance on something else towards the end of the year
Falloutboy:
but it was his best friend dude...his roomy
marburger:
Okay is this the chat room for the Firstorm comic?
Stuart_Moore:
I'm writing JSA classified, four issues starting in March...just got the first Paul Gulacy pages and they look great.
WildCard9:
I think Mick had a good death: he chose to push Firestorm even knowing the price he would pay. Very well done
Clear:
matter and energy, Falloutboy, matter and energy
imarriedsatanII:
What's the premise, Stuart?
Stuart_Moore:
I've also got stuff with Marvel, Tokyopop, Avatar...
Red_Hood:
tokyopop has lost it
WildCard9:
I already pre-ordered the JSA Classified story you are doing, Stuart.
Firestarter15:
Stuart and Jamal, what is your favorite song?
wvdrums:
looking forward to that JSA classified has been excellenet so far and im sure you'll do it justice as well
clarkent1982:
how about a peek, Stuart? :D
Falloutboy:
Stuart, I love your work on losh's too, the back stories have been great!
Jamal_Igle:
currently or of all time?
clarkent1982:
all time
Stuart_Moore:
My JSA classified arc is called "The Fall and Rise of Vandal Savage." It's about an immortal madman whose life is drawing to an end. Maybe.
Jamal_Igle:
At last by Etta James
clarkent1982:
and currently
WildCard9:
I cna also see why your LSH back-up story was moved from issue 12 to issue 13.
imarriedsatanII:
ah
Jamal_Igle:
Helena by my chemical romance
imarriedsatanII:
It's on my pull, so I'll be getting it
Clear:
brb... some people are stuck in the main room
Clear:
hey guys
kooljmackd:
stuart: what writers do you like? who are your influences (comic and non-comic)?
clarkent1982:
now, Savage is in the moon from the opening, right, SM?
Stuart_Moore:
I just heard Julie Delpy sing a song in French in the film Before Sunset and now it's my favorite song. I can't stop listening to it.
imarriedsatanII:
Who is your favorite lesser-known character, Stuart and Jamal?
WildCard9:
so I have to ask: Stuart are you taking over LSH as well, or did Waid just need a break?
Clear:
if you want to join the Firestorm chat use the menu at bottom right - switch it from Main Room to Firestorm.chat
Falloutboy:
you guys need to hear "Letters to a friend" by Novice, it will change you're life lol
Stuart_Moore:
Thanks re lsh. Actually, I had backups in both #12 and #13.
Jamal_Igle:
Lesser known? Hmmmm.......genius jones
imarriedsatanII:
oh
Stuart_Moore:
No, LSH is Mark and Barry's baby! I'm just guest-writing #15 and a few backups.
Red_Hood:
meh, i kinda wanna watch the playoffs
imarriedsatanII:
good one
Jamal_Igle:
Nobody remembers that character
imarriedsatanII:
I can't wait for the Genius Jones sketch
WildCard9:
I thought issue 16 listed you as the main writer as well. Guess the solicitation is confusing
Stuart_Moore:
Clark: It just looks like the moon...it's a remote northern tundra area.
Power_Guy:
well I've got to run. thanks for the answers Stuart!
imarriedsatanII:
bye Vince
Falloutboy:
have either of you guys been following Captain Atom?
Power_Guy:
bye guys!
clarkent1982:
ahh...canada?
Falloutboy:
bye!
Clear:
later PG
clarkent1982:
later, pg!!
Firestarter15:
cu pg
WildCard9:
good night PG
Jamal_Igle:
I get copies of it. i don't know where they're going with it yet
Stuart_Moore:
Writers I like: Oh god...lots of comics guys, too many to name. Prose: I like weird genre writers...Philip K. Dick, Cordwainer Smith, Charles Willeford, Robert Anton Wilson...
imarriedsatanII:
What, no response?
imarriedsatanII:
;)
Firestarter15:
Does KillerFrost hate Martin?
Falloutboy:
yeah me either, but I cant wait to find out
Stuart_Moore:
Little known character: I always liked the Viking Commando. Got to love a guy with a viking hat and a machine gun.
Jamal_Igle:
Firestarter: The man who helped kill her best friend?
wvdrums:
have you guys ever been sitting around and maybe mentioned a book that you two would do togther if you could do any book, like a dreambook
Red_Hood:
stuart, is geoff johns god?
Jamal_Igle:
Hehehehe
clarkent1982:
lol
WildCard9:
so what is this I heard about "DC newest super-hero: Jason's father". was that a joke mis-direction?
marburger:
Cool, I in. Man I got a question that might be a bit personal, so please don't be offended by this. *sad* But are you guys black writers trying to write a black character?
Stuart_Moore:
Killer Frost may face Martin Stein in #24-25. Or she may not.
TellarHK:
Killer Frost pretty much hates everyone. She's evil like that.
Clear:
now, it just says "hero"
Jamal_Igle:
well Stuarts white and i'm black
clarkent1982:
that is why she called "killer"
Stuart_Moore:
I don't know if Geoff is God, but he graced us with this lovely chatroom.
imarriedsatanII:
I'm retarded
clarkent1982:
HA!
Stuart_Moore:
wv: We mostly talk about Firestorm. We're both really into this book.
kooljmackd:
im really into this book too 8)
Stuart_Moore:
WildCard: It's not a joke, but it might be misdirection. How's that for evasive?
marburger:
Thanks, I got a question considering Martin Stein will he be part of the new Firestorm Post-IC, and what made him leave firestorm (ronnie) in the first place? :(
imarriedsatanII:
Any chance of the original Killer Frost coming back?
WildCard9:
Jamal, does that help to be black when drawing a character of the same race?
Clear:
meh, it's an okay book ;)
Jamal_Igle:
All though i could see Stuart and I on "all star flash" LOL
Stuart_Moore:
Huh? I thought I was the black one?
Stuart_Moore:
I need a new mirror.
wvdrums:
thats cool i like when the creative team is really excited about what they are doing. it benefits the fans and characters
Firestarter15:
Is there any plans for Jamal to make a cd? I heard somewhere he could sing.
Clear:
heh
imarriedsatanII:
ha
Clear:
I read about his movie-making skills, too
clarkent1982:
Stusrt: lol
clarkent1982:
stuart*
Clear:
didn't you remix the Superman trailer, Jamal?
Stuart_Moore:
marburger: Stein's history is complicated...basically he became an elemental being and left Earth.
clarkent1982:
oops!
WildCard9:
I was glad to see Jason's father finally using something to replace his missing hand. About time after 10 years. what a stubborn man he must have been
Stuart_Moore:
We're setting him up to be Jason's regular partner. But there may be surprises.
clarkent1982:
*)
Jamal_Igle:
Wildcard: I guess it doesn't hurt. I think i bring a perspective that an artist of another color wouldn't have , at the same time, I like working on the book and drawing different looking character
Stuart_Moore:
Given the way health care is going, I think Alvin better grab that prosthetic while he can.
imarriedsatanII:
yeah, no doubtr
Falloutboy:
stuart- whats your artistic skills like?
Jamal_Igle:
Clear: Yes I did and I haven't figured out how to post it
imarriedsatanII:
and also watch what he's Googling
Firestarter15:
Martin needs a mini explaining his adventures in space
TellarHK:
I just passed my SO the IC4 and fs21 so he has some idea why I'm here right now. I feel like such a dork. :)
wvdrums:
how long does it take you to do a page jamal
Red_Hood:
any chance of jason teaming up with Static Shock? :p
clarkent1982:
can we e-mail DC to make Firestoem 40 pages?
marburger:
Will Jason see Gennha again post-ic and what about the other DCU heroes Post-IC? :(
clarkent1982:
that would be cool
Stuart_Moore:
Seriously...I take very seriously the fact that I'm writing the only African-American superhero with his own book. Hopefully I get it right more often than not.
clarkent1982:
32 of story
Stuart_Moore:
I have next to zero artistic skills.
Jamal_Igle:
CK: who would be the second artist?
Red_Hood:
i realize that, i was being sarcastic
imarriedsatanII:
I like the book now, Stuart
Clear:
:)
imarriedsatanII:
;)
clarkent1982:
just you, Big Poppa!!
Falloutboy:
lol
WildCard9:
Stuart, Jason is not coming over as a characture, so that means you are getting something right
Clear:
sleep is overrated!
Jamal_Igle:
can it become a Bi monthly?
Stuart_Moore:
I have no idea what the Static Shock rights situation is. Nice idea, though.
clarkent1982:
hell no!!
wvdrums:
only if that means twice a month
TellarHK:
I would assume that if Stuart really screwed up in writing Jason, that Jamal could smack him in the head and fix it.
Falloutboy:
i love that there is no delays on fs...ic 4 wasn't your fault!
Jamal_Igle:
Jeez just chain me to my desk as it is, LOL
Stuart_Moore:
Yes, you'll see Gehenna again. And there'll be a big guest star when you least expect it.
Red_Hood:
considering the animated static is competley different, itd be interesting to see him in the current dcu
Stuart_Moore:
Well, maybe you'll expect it by the time it happens.
imarriedsatanII:
Firestar?
Stuart_Moore:
I have no duobt Jamal would smack me in the head, yes.
imarriedsatanII:
lol
clarkent1982:
Stuart, please tell me that Gehenna was born on Feb. 29?!?!?!
marburger:
Will Gehenna current connection with Firstorm have anything to do with the return of Martin Stien? :/
WildCard9:
She;s five and thinks of Firestorm as her boyfriend. that can go wrong in just so many ways :)
Firestarter15:
Tell us the ending to IC?
Stuart_Moore:
Firestar...do you mean Starfire?
Jamal_Igle:
there are some characters that were talking about after the upcoming arcs are done as well
imarriedsatanII:
no
imarriedsatanII:
I was thinking crossover
imarriedsatanII:
lol
Stuart_Moore:
Clark: No, she's really five. Six, soon!
clarkent1982:
that she is really 20 year on this earth
clarkent1982:
wow!
Clear:
hey, my five year old has a little girlfriend
Stuart_Moore:
marburger: The plots will come together in a way. I can't say more than that.
Clear:
now if I found out she was 18 I might be a little upset...
imarriedsatanII:
If Dick and Kory don't get back together, then maybe Kory could meet up with our boy...
Stuart_Moore:
But as Jason said, Gehenna's not a normal five-year-old.
WildCard9:
clear, but is your five year old wanting to date a freshman in college?
Clear:
thankfully not
clarkent1982:
Kory would really make a man out of Jason!!
kooljmackd:
what about the women at the top of the bridge in #21? will we find out who they are in #22?
Stuart_Moore:
The women sequence in #21 is deliberately impressionistic. It's not really a plot element.
wvdrums:
i think kory would have jason hiding
Clear:
yeah, let's get all freudian on Stuart with that symbolism
Stuart_Moore:
It has more to do with the way Jason views women, period. He's carrying around a lot of resentment toward his mother, for instance.
Jamal_Igle:
I don't think jason could handle Kory, she'd break him in half
clarkent1982:
Before I forget, Jamal the cover was by far my favorite
WildCard9:
I think the age revealation was done well, Jason reacted just as I would expect him to.
kooljmackd:
stuart: thanks...in the script how did you describe the older woman with the afro?
Stuart_Moore:
I'm inclined to agree with Jamal re Kory.
WildCard9:
the cradle robber :D
Jamal_Igle:
Thank you CK
Stuart_Moore:
Kool: If I answered that, it would give too much away for a plot a year or so down the line.
clarkent1982:
how long did it take you?
Clear:
hmmm
wvdrums:
i'd say that cover probably sold a few thousand extra copies of firestorm this month
TellarHK:
Stuart, we don't know much about 52 other than that we'll see it. Are you going to be directing what if any significant part in that Jason has, or is that all in someone else's hands?
Firestarter15:
Why the new FS suit desighn Jamal?
Jamal_Igle:
8 hours more or less
Stuart_Moore:
I'm consulting right now on some Firestorm links in 52 toward the second half of the miniseries.
WildCard9:
the cover was great, too bad it was too small to see all the details on the alternate Firestorms
Stuart_Moore:
Well, not right now. It's Sunday night.
clarkent1982:
can't wait!!
imarriedsatanII:
any talk of Firestorm in jlu?
TellarHK:
Cool, thanks for the answer. :)
WildCard9:
I thought JLU was cancelled
marburger:
Okay, I sataisfied with my questions answered so far so, my question was with the alternate cover in which had Animal man in it? I mean why the quick change?
imarriedsatanII:
(and I agree about FS and Starfire)
Stuart_Moore:
Firestorm's name has been batted around for all the DCU teams...but nothing's set lyet.
Jamal_Igle:
It was something we had been talking about since I came on the book , so when Stuart came on board we had the over all plan to bring martin back, and the give Jason a new look. the Costume he has had until now is sort of the interim step to establishing hi
Stuart_Moore:
(Yet.)
Clear:
I have a standing pledge to wash Dwayne McDuffie's car if he uses Jason
booyah1981:
what's going on ?
clarkent1982:
lol
Stuart_Moore:
Clear: Maybe your newborn can do it for you!
Jamal_Igle:
marburger: It was a last minute change
Firestarter15:
Ill help
Clear:
yeah! why else do you have kids?
clarkent1982:
Clear, have you come with name for you new born?
Stuart_Moore:
The new cover on #20 was a last-minute editorial decision...Jamal & I weren't involved in why.
clarkent1982:
up*
Clear:
Rachel
clarkent1982:
not Gehenna?
clarkent1982:
:(
TellarHK:
I'm actually looking forward to seeing if Martin's return means the return of Martin Stein as a seperate person. :)
Stuart_Moore:
Rachel's a nice name.
imarriedsatanII:
awwww
Jamal_Igle:
Rachel's a lovely name
WildCard9:
weird, but it is good to hear that it wasn't due to DC being unhappy for some reason
Stuart_Moore:
Tellar: Well, Jason just convinced Martin he wants to be human again.
Clear:
yeah, we don't try to get too creative
Stuart_Moore:
But no guarantees.
Falloutboy:
thats awesome clear
Clear:
thanks
imarriedsatanII:
FS should cross-over with the Legion sometime
TellarHK:
Stuart: Hmmm, okay. :)
WildCard9:
I wasn;t sure if Jason convinced Martin to just be part of Firestorm or be human again at the end of #21. Thanks for clearing that up
Jamal_Igle:
Oh good lord, Jason would be in hog heaven
kooljmackd:
yes FS would be awesome in legion...and isn't supergirl going there? how cool!
Stuart_Moore:
I'd love for Jason to visit the 31st century. With Supergirl, maybe?
Stuart_Moore:
I never thought of that connection before...
Falloutboy:
that's be great!
Jamal_Igle:
Team him up the Legion?
imarriedsatanII:
yeppers
Firestarter15:
I like the Elemental Look for martin, but human is better. Any word of a mini series?
clarkent1982:
Stuart, what happen that you and the artist don't get cover credit in issue 13?
imarriedsatanII:
Kara is going there
WildCard9:
Firestorm meets Wildfire. Let the angst begin :)
Jamal_Igle:
that could be cool
imarriedsatanII:
and he is a teen
imarriedsatanII:
sorta
marburger:
Nice, since firstorm requires two bodies in one. And with the possible return of Martin Stein in the DCU where would we see him Post-IC? Can you give us a hint
kooljmackd:
jamal and stuart, how do you two collaborate? jamal have you considered writing any?
wvdrums:
gotta go later guys and keep up the great work stuart and jamal
Stuart_Moore:
Clark: I was in the office when the first proof of legion #12 came in. I gave Steve Wacker all kinds of crap about it, and he added my name. I was just kidding!
Stuart_Moore:
I guess I wasn't in the office for #13.
Clear:
see you later wvdrums
WildCard9:
I thought it was Clear: Stuart and Jamal combine to become Firestorm-Creator and make the book that way :D
clarkent1982:
lol
Jamal_Igle:
keep in mind that jason is one of us{Comic book reading, Sc-fi watching, toy collecting) dude so he'd love to be in the 31st century
Stuart_Moore:
Sorry -- the first proof came in without my name on it. He added it.
Stuart_Moore:
Typing too fast.
Jamal_Igle:
thanks WV
kooljmackd:
jason is one of us...a GL fan too
Stuart_Moore:
Yeah -- Jason would fit right in.
Falloutboy:
i loved seeing him meet John Stewart for the 1st time:D
Firestarter15:
Which is why he rules
Clear:
yeah, that's a great thing about Jason - he's neither a prom king nor so no-esteem kid
WildCard9:
it is cool that a hero is also a fan
Stuart_Moore:
There's a delicate balance with the Legion: So far, they don't even know that the ancient heroes were real. That may be changing.
Clear:
er.. nor a
TellarHK:
I have to admit, it's great to see Jason's reactions when he runs into other heroes. :)
Jamal_Igle:
he's not quite an emo either although he is angsty
Stuart_Moore:
Wait till he meets Batm -- oops!
clarkent1982:
How many issues are you writing losh?
imarriedsatanII:
Jason could meet... Tyroc!
TellarHK:
Stuart: You teasing bastard. :)
kooljmackd:
hahahaha yes!
Falloutboy:
haha
WildCard9:
Huh what?! That is an interesting LSH spoiler there, Stuart. I missed noticing that part!!
Firestarter15:
hahha
Clear:
well, but angsty about real things like killing a guy, not that Blockbuster is out of his favorite movie
WildCard9:
My bet was they were the Earth-2 Legion
Stuart_Moore:
Clark: Just #15 and the backups in #12 and 13.
Jamal_Igle:
Clear: true
Firestarter15:
Firestorm needs to meet GL
clarkent1982:
and you wrote it with Mark?
Stuart_Moore:
No, that's an established part of the new Legion, though they haven't had a lot of room to play it up.
marburger:
yeah I mean if it was the S man then it would be something Special. Have they meet I mena the current Firstorm and Superman?
Falloutboy:
Jamal, other than FS what title would you love to sink your teeth into?
TellarHK:
Yeah, FS and Supes have met.
Jamal_Igle:
Firestarter: he's already met John Stewart
Stuart_Moore:
Mark consulted - he suggested the Lightning Lad/Saturn Girl story. But the plots were all mine.
WildCard9:
I thought the current Legion knew there was an age of heroes 1000 years in their past. I did not catch that it was not known to them. So not a spoiler, just a detail I missed seeing
Jamal_Igle:
Nightwing or the flash
imarriedsatanII:
I'd like to see your Nightwing, Jamal
Stuart_Moore:
WildCard: Like I said, they haven't played it up much. It's important to my issue (#15).
clarkent1982:
isn't flash...killed away?
Falloutboy:
ahh they sound good1
imarriedsatanII:
stop it, clark
clarkent1982:
lol
TellarHK:
Flash can't be -that- dead since they're starting another volume in a few months.
clarkent1982:
I will
Firestarter15:
Clark: Thats what i was assuming too
WildCard9:
Flash is not dead, yet
Falloutboy:
I'd love to see you on Wonder woman!
Jamal_Igle:
CK: For now :D
marburger:
Ahh, you guys are the best, but I got to go so Bye and thanks for the Q&A section. Keep on rocking!!! :fro: :D
Falloutboy:
And Stuart writing too :)
Stuart_Moore:
Fallout: I asked them about Wonder Woman! But there's already a plan...
WildCard9:
of course, no work on who the star of the new FLash series will be...
imarriedsatanII:
dangit
Jamal_Igle:
alb: that could be cool.. but i'd have to de her my way
imarriedsatanII:
how about a revived Rima, the Jungle Girl?
TellarHK:
Just wait, the new Flash series will star Roscoe P. Coltrane's dog.
Firestarter15:
Haaaaaa
Falloutboy:
your way eh? I'd love to see your take!
imarriedsatanII:
Flash!
Stuart_Moore:
Satan: Yeah, I need to write more characters that don't sell!
Falloutboy:
Ah really Stuart!? Thats a shame
Jamal_Igle:
ahhhhh savior of the Universe!
imarriedsatanII:
lol
WildCard9:
I am going to bet the new Flash series will star both Bart and Jennie, his cousing from LSH
imarriedsatanII:
oh... I'd put you on JLA Stuart
imarriedsatanII:
if you'd add Rima
imarriedsatanII:
;)
WildCard9:
is Firestorm not selling well??
clarkent1982:
Stuart and Jamal, what character are you sadden that was knocked off?
Firestarter15:
any interst in the Spectre
Stuart_Moore:
Thanks. Rima would eat them all alive.
kooljmackd:
stuart: i really liked the reporter in #21 and the sense of place for FS....do you plan on having more "detroit" context? that was something i sort of missed in earlier issues
imarriedsatanII:
lol
Jamal_Igle:
Simone bianchi??
imarriedsatanII:
wha?
Stuart_Moore:
WildCard: I'm mostly kidding...Firestorm seems okay for now.
clarkent1982:
Simone was here?
clarkent1982:
ooops?
WildCard9:
whew! Glad to hear that
Jamal_Igle:
for a second and then he popped out
Jamal_Igle:
yeah we have had a 6000 copy bump in the last four months
Stuart_Moore:
Clark: I'm not thinking of anyone off the top of my head...
Clear:
no doubt that Firestorm is a lower-selling book, but do you guys think it's done well for your careers?
WildCard9:
yeah, Simone was here, then he popped over to the Earth-2 version of this chat :)
clarkent1982:
was a pun...regard issue 4?
Firestarter15:
On the Dc boards there is a debate as to whether Martin could take down the Spectre. What do you think Stuart?
Stuart_Moore:
Kool: I liked that guy, too. We're going to focus less on Detroit after #22, for reasons I can't go into too much now. But I like having characters pop up in unexpected places.
Jamal_Igle:
Clear: It's been very good to me so far
Stuart_Moore:
Clear: Yes, me too. And I think it's a good book, which is the most important thing.
Firestarter15:
Your very good to it
clarkent1982:
yeah, thank to FS, jamal is now signed to DC!
WildCard9:
Move Firestorm to Boston so I can nitpick on you getting the area wrong :D
Jamal_Igle:
I wouldn't have gotten this contract if Steve hadn't given me the chance to prove what I could do
Stuart_Moore:
Firestarter: I saw that debate. We haven't gotten much into mysticism in Firestorm yet.
clarkent1982:
and Steve said that you sing
clarkent1982:
*)
Firestarter15:
Mabey one day stuart
Jamal_Igle:
yeah, before i was an comic artist I was an actor/Singer
Stuart_Moore:
I do have one continuity bit I just didn't have room for anywhere. Martin Stein's skeptical of the whole "elementals" business. It doesn't fit very well with his scientific worldview.
Firestarter15:
Lets see it
clarkent1982:
actor in what...?
WildCard9:
that sounds about right for Martin.
imarriedsatanII:
Good chance to bring in Naiad, Swamp Thing and
imarriedsatanII:
Red Tornado
Firestarter15:
what kind of music did you sing Jamal
Jamal_Igle:
Theater mostly off broadway
TellarHK:
I'm glad to hear Martin'd still be a skeptic. :)
Stuart_Moore:
So that lets me sidestep the elemental question.
kooljmackd:
funny that he was an elemental but skeptical about it...makes perfect sense
clarkent1982:
Stuart, did you know that Jamal could sing to the ladies?
WildCard9:
Yeah, how will Martin react to the sentient android Red Tornado who is also an elemental?
Jamal_Igle:
I did some bit stuff in low budget movies
clarkent1982:
*)
Stuart_Moore:
I knew he could sing...but every time I talk to him I learn about something else he's done!
Clear:
so is Martin's being out of touch with humanity a permanent fixture, something that will change quickly or something that will evolve and change over time?
imarriedsatanII:
I was in some low-budget films, too
Stuart_Moore:
No Red Tornado plans currently.
Jamal_Igle:
I've led a strange and interesting life in 33 years
TellarHK:
Bah, crashed my browser. :)
Stuart_Moore:
Clear: I can't say much about that without blowing the next big surprise.
WildCard9:
Martin is going to have a bit of "time travellers syndrome" once he returns to Earth due to being away for so long
imarriedsatanII:
they were all "adult oriented", but...
clarkent1982:
you are only 33!?!?!?!?!?!?
Clear:
hey, he's an old man
Firestarter15:
Do you like the elemental Stuart?
Clear:
I think he's six days older than I am
Stuart_Moore:
Yeah, although don't forget Martin's only been away for a few years DC time. I figure about five years.
TellarHK:
Yeah, what kind of timespan -has- passed while Martin was away? It's been a long time for us, but how long in the dcu?
TellarHK:
Well, now I know. :)
Falloutboy:
While you're both here, I just wanted to say that Firestorm is such a brilliant and fresh book, it really does have an original and special feel to it, so thanks for doing such a great job fellers
furyoffirestorm:
Stuart would you be able to give us a hint as to which heroes will be appearing in Firestorm soon?
Jamal_Igle:
CK, yep i'll eb 34 in July
Firestarter15:
I agree with falloutboy
Clear:
it was funny to find out that so many of the fans on the dcmbs were born in 1972 along with Jamal
WildCard9:
Even five years makes a huge difference in current culture and technology. Just look at 1995 compared to 2000, or 2000 compared to 2005
Stuart_Moore:
Firestarter: I like Stein, but I kind of want to stay away from the whole elemental business. I overdosed on that when I was editor of Swamp Thing.
Stuart_Moore:
And it never seemed to me that integral to Firestorm.
TellarHK:
Stuart, you just made my day. :)
clarkent1982:
wow, Stuart, may I ask how old you are and birthday?
Firestarter15:
me too
Stuart_Moore:
Thanks, Fallout.
Jamal_Igle:
flb: Thank you. You have no idea how jazzed I get knowing that you guys are digging the book
Stuart_Moore:
Fury: There will be some DCU guests. But after crisis, we've got a lot of our own story to get into.
clarkent1982:
Chris, where's Larry?
Falloutboy:
down under man, who knows lol
clarkent1982:
lol
Stuart_Moore:
Clark: I think I just decided to start lying about my age.
TellarHK:
Did OYL throw any wrenches into plans for FS, or was that a known factor when you took over the book, Stuart?
Stuart_Moore:
So: FIve.
clarkent1982:
lol
imarriedsatanII:
Good luck with the book, Stuart and Jamal. I'm on-board. Gotta run.
Clear:
lol Stuart
Jamal_Igle:
Stuart: LOL
clarkent1982:
turning six?
Stuart_Moore:
One Year Later. :)
clarkent1982:
lol
TellarHK:
Hah.
Firestarter15:
Mabey you can start writing GL stuart
Stuart_Moore:
Tellar: One Year Later posed a whole series of challenges. On one hand, it let me skip a bunch of steps and get Jason to an important new point in his life.
kooljmackd:
stewart written by stuart
Clear:
I was going to make a joke about worrying that others were so big "down there" but decided that that would be horribly inappropriate ;)
Jamal_Igle:
I don't think Geoff will ever let that book go
Stuart_Moore:
On the other hand, there was pressure to come up with something really, really special and good. It took some work but I think we got there.
Firestarter15:
Ive heard rumors
TellarHK:
Stuart: Yeah, I can see how it might be good to skip a lot of things.
Falloutboy:
Stuart, when you were editor for Daredevil...did that allow you to help plot things and give your own imput into the stories?
Clear:
I thought a mindwipe was going to be the reason for the big jump but looks like I was wrong
Stuart_Moore:
It feels like somewhat of a different book as of issue #23. Some of that comes from who & what Firestorm himself is, and others from the writing & art, which we deliberately altered a bit.
Stuart_Moore:
At least I did.
clarkent1982:
are we going to see Jason's mom later...
WildCard9:
from a fan, I would guess the "can't do college for one year" was the only change due to OYL that had to be put in
Stuart_Moore:
Fallout: I was definitely involved. But Bendis always had a strong idea of what he wanted to do with Daredevi.l
Jamal_Igle:
I can say at least from the art side, there's a new type of energy to what's going on
Falloutboy:
cool!
Falloutboy:
Sounds exciting
WildCard9:
that is great to hear from the creators
Firestarter15:
yeah
Stuart_Moore:
WildCard: Actually, I had that planned before One Year Later. This just meant I didn't have t;o show it!
clarkent1982:
Stuart, do you get to kept some if the origial art?
Stuart_Moore:
I always wanted my first five issues to show Jason struggling, striving for this one goal -- to make enough money to go to college -- and then not to pull it off.
Clear:
typically not, clark
Stuart_Moore:
A test of his character.
TellarHK:
Is DC ever going to -update- the Firestorm info on the website? :) It's a touch.. outdated.
Clear:
but I'm sure Jamal would cut him a discount on a sketch
Stuart_Moore:
No, the art all goes back to the artists.
clarkent1982:
cool
Stuart_Moore:
Tellar: I'll try to remind them.
Jamal_Igle:
All Stuart has to do is ask
clarkent1982:
wow
Falloutboy:
what about us? lol
WildCard9:
oh wow, talk about things just falling in place for a plot point :)
clarkent1982:
that's friendship
Firestarter15:
clear, your firestorm site rules all
Clear:
thanks
Stuart_Moore:
Thanks. To be perfectly honest, I love original art -- but I never know what to do with it.
Falloutboy:
yep, its been very useful
kooljmackd:
hehehe I had mmy "character" tested by not being able to college for a year....but I stuck with it...so will Jason (i hope)
Stuart_Moore:
But that means a lot, Jamal.
TellarHK:
I'd love to see a desktop wallpaper featuring the new FS logo sometime. Hint hint. ;)
Jamal_Igle:
Yeah I have to sya Clear... nice job. The sites been great
Clear:
I just got my mitts on an original Jamal Igle prelim sketch, in fact :)
furyoffirestorm:
Jamal when Firestorm gets his new costume will you have in the comic a few pages of discarded ideas? I would like to see them
clarkent1982:
what!?!?
Clear:
thanks, Jamal, it's all your pretty art that makes it look so good
Falloutboy:
I still havent recieved my t-shirt tho clear
clarkent1982:
HA!
Clear:
um, must have gotten stuck in customs :)
Falloutboy:
ha ha
TellarHK:
Clear: Serves you right for outsourcing to HempCo. ;)
Jamal_Igle:
probably not but if DC does a trade I may let them have them. At least one of the discarded costumes will show up in the book
Stuart_Moore:
We gotta get that trade!
Clear:
yeah!
Falloutboy:
Jamal, one day you have to show the world your take on WW, I'd love to see it
TellarHK:
Yes, you do.
Clear:
if we were to write a postal email who should it be addressed to?
Firestarter15:
Dc really need to updaTE everything on the FS front
Stuart_Moore:
Bob Harras, Group Editor, Collected Editions.
Jamal_Igle:
Actually I have a CBG JLA /Titans cover with her on it coming soon
Falloutboy:
Firestorm is a higher seller than Manhunter, yet they got a trade, hopefully soon FS will
clarkent1982:
yeah
kooljmackd:
dc should just update their site to link to Clear's. Great site clear
Clear:
okay, I have a project while I'm on paternity leave
WildCard9:
FS needs a trade!!
clarkent1982:
but from which start?
Stuart_Moore:
I think there's a little trouble figuring out where to start the FS collections...with #1 or #14?
clarkent1982:
Jolley or Moore's?
Clear:
I think Marc has poloroids of someone...
TellarHK:
That's the problem with an FS trade, yeah.
Stuart_Moore:
I have a selfish answer, but I understand the problem.
clarkent1982:
lol
WildCard9:
but you can jump on any issue and know what is going on. very few books are doing that these days.
Jamal_Igle:
I think they should start from 14 on
Stuart_Moore:
Thanks, WildCard. I work hard on that.
clarkent1982:
yes!
Clear:
if they leave off numbering, it really doesn't matter
Firestarter15:
14 on for sure
WildCard9:
The trade should start with issue 14.
Clear:
8 is also a good possibility
clarkent1982:
who would write the intro?
TellarHK:
We need the equivalent of a Secret Origins book, that covers both primary versions of FS.
Falloutboy:
Clear lol
WildCard9:
Or issue 9 if you want to do the pre-Stuart story that was good
kooljmackd:
i really like dthe early stuff too...but starting with #14 would be cool
Firestarter15:
A secret orgins inside a 14 on trade.....
WildCard9:
wasn't 8 the corssover with that other series?
Clear:
that was 7
WildCard9:
ah, so I did mean issue 8 as the other good point for a tradeL issues 8-13
Jamal_Igle:
14 was about the point where I really started to feel like"Ok, this is my book now!"
clarkent1982:
any "more" character getting knocked off?
clarkent1982:
characters*
Stuart_Moore:
Well, #24's solicitation says Stein is missing.
Falloutboy:
I hated that it crossed over! I didnt know that and so I never got to read part 2 lol
Stuart_Moore:
(I didn't think they were going to say that!)
Firestarter15:
me too FOB
WildCard9:
Sten missing? that never happened before! :P
Clear:
well, that was helpful though
Clear:
everyong thought they knew who Jason was partnering with until that came out
Jamal_Igle:
Wildcard :p
Firestarter15:
I think there talking about his first disappearence
TellarHK:
Jamal: Took a while to feel like you really made your mark on it, huh? I'm still embarrassed that I couldn't tell Barrows' work from yours.
WildCard9:
the part 2 was worse than part 1 was. it only had one thing that was important to FS
Stuart_Moore:
#7 was the Bloodhound issue.
clarkent1982:
ahh...
Falloutboy:
damn that issue
Falloutboy:
lol
Clear:
heh
Firestarter15:
ha
Clear:
I'll throw a copy in with the t-shirt
Clear:
I'll get right on that :)
WildCard9:
the only FS important part of Bloodhound was he resisted the FS merger somehow
Jamal_Igle:
TellarHK: Eddie"borrowed" quite a bit from on that issue
TellarHK:
I actually enjoyed Dan's stuff, but Stuart's writing is definitely more polished feeling.
Falloutboy:
Jolleys run was okay, entertaining, got better when Jamal came on board, but because I read Stuarts first, it just didnt rock my world.
WildCard9:
both parts of that crossover were bad.
Firestarter15:
agreed
Stuart_Moore:
I've never met Dan Jolley, but he left me a great character to work with.
clarkent1982:
Wow, Stuart, you rocked Chris's world...
Firestarter15:
He sighned my first issue
Falloutboy:
lol
Clear:
super nice guy
WildCard9:
Jolley's run was better starting in issue 8 when the editor changed and he was allowed to do what he wanted to do originally (I spoke with him at Dragon*Con and that is what he told me happened)
Firestarter15:
thats behind us now
clarkent1982:
I bet the is the first time a man has said that to you
clarkent1982:
*)
clarkent1982:
that*
Clear:
yeah, I could go on about that for a while but that's history now
Falloutboy:
if any of you guys hit a convention, i need you to hook the english kid up with a signed copy of FS! deal? lol
Jamal_Igle:
deal
WildCard9:
Yeah, it is behind us, but it told me that I was blaming Jolley for something that was the editor's fault. I need to keep that in mind next time I see something I dislike in a series: it may not be the writers fault
Firestarter15:
true
Stuart_Moore:
Fallout: Definitely. I'm thinking about Wondercon...I may see if I can get a good last-minute package deal.
Falloutboy:
haha legend!
Clear:
you guys going to San Diego?
clarkent1982:
what about MegaCon?
Jamal_Igle:
I'm planning on it, Clear
Stuart_Moore:
Definitely San Diego, yes.
Clear:
I really need to make it out there
Stuart_Moore:
No MegaCon for me.
Stuart_Moore:
I'll also be at the big New York con in late February.
Firestarter15:
come to atlanta
Falloutboy:
just fly over to London so I can come, we can hang lol
clarkent1982:
nooooooooooooooo
WildCard9:
You two need to come to Dragon*Con this year (the only con I know that I will be at in 2006)
clarkent1982:
sunny florida!!
Jamal_Igle:
My upcoming shows are NY Comic con, Pittsburch, Heroes Con in Charlotte and possibly Chicago
Stuart_Moore:
See, artists make money when they got to cons. Writers lose money! :)
Falloutboy:
lol true!
Clear:
nobody pays you for a little half-page story?
clarkent1982:
don't have to deal with cold and that white sh!t coming down the sky
Jamal_Igle:
I think I maybe at Wizard world Philly as well
TellarHK:
Stuart: You could always do a booth for paragraphs. ;)

Clear: "* sniff *
WildCard9:
Dragon*Con is in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend. No snow, but you may have to dodge a hurricane
Stuart_Moore:
I always forget about Wizard World Philly. Yeah, maybe.
Stuart_Moore:
Tellar: * groan *
Jamal_Igle:
San Diego's always hard because i never make money at that show
TellarHK:
Cons scare me. Or maybe that's clowns. I can never keep them apart.
Firestarter15:
You could sell advance copies of Firestorm :D
Clear:
how much do genuine Jamal Igle sketches go for these days?
Stuart_Moore:
It's a pretty expensive show, San Diego. But for me, it's the best combination of networking and seeing old friends.
WildCard9:
I prefer the larger cons like Dragon*Con and Arisia in Boston. Smaller cons alway seam like too much cost for too little return
TellarHK:
And from an essay Kevin Smith wrote, it sounds like a heck of a party (If you don't count the fact none of it was true) ;)
Stuart_Moore:
I like big shows, too.
Clear:
I need to find a way to conveniently be in San Diego for a business trip around then...
Jamal_Igle:
I always write SD off as networking
clarkent1982:
Igle's art work= one million $$
Jamal_Igle:
I wish... LOL
Stuart_Moore:
I might shove off pretty soon...any other questions?
Stuart_Moore:
(That I can't answer?)
WildCard9:
one million pennies? Hey, I can afford that!! well, maybe...
Stuart_Moore:
:)
Firestarter15:
The ending of IC please
Falloutboy:
lol
clarkent1982:
aahh...can you sing, Stuart?
Clear:
several that I've forgotten, I'm sure
Stuart_Moore:
Ending of IC: Ask God.
WildCard9:
Are you planning on staying on Firestorm for a while, or is the end near?
Clear:
heh
Eric_Sellers:
No question just keep up the Great work!!
TellarHK:
You've gotta leave us with something annoyingly teasing to keep us in suspense for #22.
Stuart_Moore:
I used to sing. It's been a long time.
Jamal_Igle:
Yeah i think I'll shove off too. i have to finish the last issue of issue 24
Falloutboy:
Thanks for your time Stuart and Big Poppa!
Firestarter15:
Thanks guys
clarkent1982:

Falloutboy:
e-mail the pencils to 24 Jam!
TellarHK:
And definitely, both of you keep it up. Like I've said, between the art and the writing, it's made me a fan. :)
Clear:
yeah, many thanks
WildCard9:
thanks for chatting with us, Stuart and Jamal
Stuart_Moore:
I'm on firestorm pretty much as long as they want me. I could easily do it for two or three more years. The next year is basically plotted, though things can change.
clarkent1982:
you made my work day go by faster
WildCard9:
that is good to hear, Stuart
Jamal_Igle:
