Louise Lincoln AKA Killer Frost II

Louise Lincoln was an assistant to Dr. Crystal Frost, the original Killer Frost and an early Firestorm villain. When Crystal's powers eventually caused her death, Louise took her place as Killer Frost, feeling sorry for her former mentor. In the process, her mind became warped. She quickly proved that she was equally remorseless and bent on Firestorm's destruction.

Louise went on to challenge many of the DC Universe's heroes, from Superman to Green Lantern. She served briefly in the Suicide Squad as well as some more villainous organizations such as the Legion of Doom. During Underworld Unleashed, Louise was one of the villains that received a power upgrade from Neron in exchange for her soul.

Over time, Louise began to be afflicted with the same problem that killed her mentor. Desperate for a cure, she sought out metahuman experts to help her. She coerced Dr. Franks, possibly of S.T.A.R labs, to give her a device to track Firestorm. Dr. Franks suggested that Jason may be able to change her body to make her healthy.

Louise layed a trap for Jason. She pretended that she was going to commit suicide because she had been told that she had terminal cancer. She convinced Jason to impose healthy cells on her body, which Jason did. The process not only cured Louise, but even further increased her powers. Jason was forced to confront Killer Frost with the help of Lorraine Reilly.

In the ensuing battle, Ronnie Raymond once again surfaced but found it difficult to defeat the enhanced Killer Frost. Jason took control of Firestorm and, seeing no alternative, removed from her the healthy cells he had placed there. Not only was the transformation agonizing, but Louise was left disfigured and contorted. In this condition, she nearly killed Lorraine and Jason but managed to escape before she could be apprehended by the police.

Lousie discovered where Jason and Lorraine were taken for care and went there. Deciding that she was no longer capable of taking Firestorm down, she reached The Thinker (Cliff Carmichael) through The Calculator to let him know that he could have his revenge by finally killing Ronnie Raymond.
